HEAD'S UP

Rogers Community 4 will be replaying excerpts from William Thomas' chemtrail presentation from last April, this Friday, June 30 at 8:30 p.m., Sunday, July 2 at 12:30 p.m. and Friday, July 7 at 2 p.m. And yes, unfortunately, chemtrails remain the most under-reported story of the past two years, despite literally thousands of eyewitness reports across North America. In his update, Thomas attacks the corporate government and our "mockery of democracy," which allows things like this to happen without any public knowledge, and reiterates his previous conclusion, that chemtrails are "a desperate attempt to head off the superstorms, floods and droughts of global warming, without reducing fossil fuel burning and harming the balance sheets of all business enmeshed in a petroleum-powered economy... Follow the money. It leads, in every case, to corporate interests, a tune to which all governments must dance."

MORE ON THE MOCKERY OF DEMOCRACY

According to Ralph Nader, who, believe it or not, is running for president in the U.S. (if they elect him, watch for a quick assassination), the buy-out of western democracy is complete, leaving us governed by the rule of corporate law. In an interview with The Bay Guardian, he says "the political system has been hijacked by corporate power and the people are left without a countervailing force against what Jefferson called the excesses of moneyed interests. And when you have that kind of unified concentration of power and wealth, what might be called the corporate government, the policies favor the few over the many."

IN HOLLYWOOD, MONEY CAN SOLVE ANY PROBLEM

According to an ad for "Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation", in a Hollywood film-rag, "a growing number of women are joining a new trend in plastic surgery to improve the appearance of their outer vaginal area." A new technique, labiaplasty, reduces the size and shape of the inner lips of the vagina. Other ground-breaking techniques in Female Genital Cosmetic Surgery (the politically-correct term) are vaginal tightening, liposuction and lip lifting, "repair" of the hymen, the clipping of asymmetrical inner lips (horror!), unhooding the clitoris for more friction, and injecting fat into lips thought to thin. BRAINIAC PETS

A survey conducted by the American Animal Hospital Association found that 72 per cent of pet owners kiss their pets before they kiss their spouse after getting home. As well, 18 per cent of pet owners consider their pet a "genius." Yeah, compared to their owners.

SPOOKY DOG

A sheepdog in Cheshire, UK, left his home last Christmas Eve and walked four miles to the grave of his former owner, who had died in July. According to everyone involved, the dog had been given away immediately after the man's death, and had never been to his grave before. (Manchester Evening News)

BURIAL AT SEA

Dr. Rebecca Gomperts is only $150,000 away from launching Sea Change, the world's first floating abortion clinic. The ship will travel around the world and perform free abortions in the international waters off the coasts of countries where abortions are illegal. (London Guardian)
